The total amount paid may include (i) a Parking Buddy service/booking fee (“Platform Fee”) and (ii) the parking service price payable to the relevant API Partner and/or underlying parking operator (“Supplier Charge”). Parking Buddy will remit the Supplier Charge (or the relevant portion of it) to the API Partner/operator.

  • 10.5 Any issues relating to the parking service itself (including service performance, amendments, operational complaints, no-shows, operator terms, API Partner booking cancellation, and supplier-led cancellations) are the responsibility of the API Partner/operator. Accordingly, the customer agrees that any service-related refund requests or claims relating to the Supplier Charge must be pursued with the relevant API Partner/operator under their applicable terms and conditions. Parking Buddy’s liability (if any) in relation to API-based bookings is limited to the Platform Fee and/or the booking/intermediary service it provides, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
  • 10.6 Where Parking Buddy processes the customer payment, Parking Buddy may, where appropriate, facilitate refunds in coordination with the API Partner/operator. However, Parking Buddy is not obliged to refund any amount corresponding to the Supplier Charge unless and until it has received confirmation and/or funds from the API Partner/operator (or is otherwise required to do so by applicable law or the card/payment rules).
  • 10.7 If a customer raises a card/bank dispute (chargeback) relating to an API-based booking, Parking Buddy may share relevant booking and supplier details with the API Partner/operator and may require the API Partner/operator to provide evidence and/or reimburse Parking Buddy for any Supplier Charge amounts paid out to the API Partner/operator that are later subject to reversal, dispute, chargeback, refund, or other deduction.
